This photo was taken last April 23, 2008 and it was headed by Dr. Bejamin Racela (8th from left, top row) recently met at the Wack Wack Golf and Country Club in Mandaluyong City to discuss plans for the 12th International Congress of Oral Implantologists Asia-Pacific Section (ICOI-APS) Congress on December 1-5 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City. With the theme "Evolving Trneds in Oral Implant Education and Research," Congress Chairman, Dr. Joseph Lim (6th from left, top row) said this big event - the first to be held in the Philippines - is hosted by PCOI together with the prestigious Asian Oral Implant Academy and is co-sponsored by eight local dental schools. It is also recognized by the Philippine Dental Association. To promote the congress, PCOI jointly conducted its 3rd Live Implant Surgery Workshop with the Manila Chinatown Charity Foundation Inc. in cooperation with 11 Japanese dentists. |
